Gravic released Shadowbase for Other Servers Version 6.700 (T1123^AAI, T1124^AAE, T1125^AAG, T1126^AAF, T1127^AAE, T1128^AAE, T1129^AAF, T1130^AAE). This is a full release that includes one mature feature, four deprecated features, fourteen special notes, and nine new features, several corrected problems, and other changes.
WARNING: A new license file is required to install and run HPE Shadowbase for Other Servers software version 6.700. This is due to a change in the format of the license file, current license terms are still valid and remain in force. Contact the HPE License Manager to request a new license file. DO NOT INSTALL HPE Shadowbase for Other Servers software version 6.700 until a new license file has been obtained.
New features summary:
- HPE Shadowbase Log Source for Oracle supports the collection of additional Oracle types
- HPE Shadowbase Log Source for Oracle User Exits, which enables column filtering during replication
- Replicating Oracle column names that have spaces
- PostgreSQL target replication via ODBC (for Windows and Red Hat Linux clients)
- MySQL target replication via ODBC (for Windows clients)
- Target side support for replicating SQL/MX Sequence Objects from one SQL/MX table to another SQL/MX table
- The Visual Studio project for User Exit development added back into the Windows release of HPE Shadowbase
- Support for updated versions of the MySQL ODBC driver on Windows and Red Hat Linux

Problems corrected summary:
- DBS mapping under certain circumstances no longer improperly includes quote characters
- IBM Db2® collector username and password prompt is fixed
- In an Oracle Log Source environment, Shadowbase now supports replicating from both archived and online logs
- When forwarding one DOC to another using a TFS, the new DOC preserves the same TX ID as the old one
- In OSS Direct Writers for SQL/MX target environments, sockets that are not in use now closes when the connection between source and target systems is broken
- The SBMON LIST command is enhanced when run against the OPCOL and DOC objects to more accurately reflect the progress of TRS and TFS objects
- HPE Shadowbase now attempts to use any of the official Microsoft ODBC drivers
- An issue where INVALID_NUM_PROCESSING would not properly work for MySQL targets is fixed
