One question we often get from customers is where to find our technical documentation for all things Shadowbase software. It is a good question that is not quite as simple as you would expect. In order to answer it properly, it is helpful to point out that there are two different categories of documentation that are published:
HPE Shadowbase solutions support four key pillars of Data Resilience: Data Replication for Business Continuity, Data Integration and Application Integration, Data Validation, and Data Recovery for Cybersecurity. The requirements for each of these areas are constantly evolving as NonStop customers strive to get the most value from NonStop data and to protect it from disasters or cyberattacks.
We are excited to share an update on our releases currently in development (coming soon!). The following releases with a whole host of new functionality are nearing development completion now: HPE NonStop Shadowbase Version 7.000 for both J and L-series systems and HPE Shadowbase Version 6.810 for Other Servers.
We have released a major upgrade version for the NonStop and are also nearing a new release for the other platforms. You will see more information in the Development section.
Today, the value of a company’s data cannot be over-estimated. Data has become the fuel to power new business opportunities. While exploiting data is nothing new, the amount of data being generated certainly is, and it is only now that we have the tools to gather and mine vast amounts of that data in real-time.
