Using AutoTMF, TMF, and RDF to Enable Disaster Recovery Solutions for BASE24™ Systems

Philip J. Nye of Cardlink Consultants Ltd writes how to enable improved performance and Disaster Recovery for BASE24 applications using standard HPE NonStop Products such as the Transaction Management Facility (TMF) and NonStop AutoTMF.

 

Historically, the only way for applications like BASE24-atm and BASE24-pos to have supported TMF would have been through custom modifications.

However, it is now possible to automatically add support for TMF to BASE24 applications using the AutoTMF product, allowing for BASE24 systems to take advantage of enabling Disaster Recovery solutions.
