Hello and welcome to our Fall 2015 Shadowbase Products Group Newsletter. We have a lot of exciting news to share with you today!

We now have a new website, www.ShadowbaseSoftware.com! While we were proud of our previous site (www.Gravic.com/Shadowbase), we realized that it was not that easy to find, nor was it laid out best for how our customers and partners search for Shadowbase information.

Our new site contains major improvements in both our high-level solutions overviews as well as technical content and graphics, with easy-to-use “drill-down style” page navigation under six major tabs: Solutions, Products, Support, Publications, About Us, and Contact Us. We also placed a convenient site map at the bottom of each page.

Our home page focuses on our four major solutions: Business Continuity, Data Integration and Synchronization, Application Integration, and Utilities, all linking to additional in-depth information.

Our intent is to provide initial high-level overviews at the top level (what we call “C-suite information”), with additional and increasingly technical details as you drill down through the linked sub-pages. This way those interested in only a solutions overview are quickly satisfied, while those desiring more technical content can continue to investigate as they navigate deeper into the site. Typically, the lowest levels guide the reader to a much more detailed PDF document.

The Publications  tab, a popular favorite for many of our readers, continues to catalog our white papers, case studies, and articles, all categorized by Shadowbase solution type. This area also contains information about recent Gravic and Shadowbase news and links to our newsletters. Other highlights include expanded pages on Shadowbase products and Shadowbase support/services, as well as information that our HPE NonStop users will find particularly useful.

Note, we are no longer updating our old website and will retire it within the next year, so please change all references you may have from www.Gravic.com/Shadowbase to www.ShadowbaseSoftware.com. This change will not affect our email addresses; they will remain the same as they are now.

As many of you know, Hewlett Packard Enterprise is selling Shadowbase under the brand HPE Shadowbase. This activity has produced a number of exciting opportunities for us, especially in the data, system, and application migration space as customers leverage the HPE Shadowbase Zero Downtime Migration (ZDM) procedure to replace existing environments (and replication solutions) with newer technologies including HPE Shadowbase. We plan to share a number of interesting case studies in our next newsletter.

As you will see when you review the rest of this newsletter, we have been busy implementing a number of helpful new features, and we strongly encourage our users to review all of these enhancements and capabilities to determine which ones may be beneficial. And, a word of caution to our users – even if you don’t initially think that a new release is of interest to you, please always review the SOFTDOC documentation to determine if any of the bug fixes or other items contained in it might be useful to you.

If you are attending the Connect HPE NonStop Technical Boot Camp this month at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, CA, please stop by the Gravic booth and/or attend one of our presentations. We look forward to meeting you at the show and sharing ideas regarding how the HPE Shadowbase product suite can provide solutions to your most pressing business issues for business continuity, data integration and synchronization, and application integration.

We hope that you enjoy visiting our new site! Please let us know if you like it, and if there are any ways that you feel we can improve it. We deeply appreciate your support and use of our products. Feel free to contact us at any time to discuss what is on your mind. We look forward to hearing from you.

With warm regards,
Paul J. Holenstein
