Looking forward, we are very excited to begin a beta test this winter of our first release for synchronous replication, NonStop Shadowbase ZDL, with a Controlled FCS Availability release slated for 2014. This future release is a major advance towards avoiding any data loss even in the event of catastrophic data center failure, and is a stepping stone to providing collision avoidance in active/active architectures.

For Open Systems, we are adding a significant performance enhancement with batched transactions and the capability of replicating from Oracle via transaction logs, giving you the choice of using either our existing trigger-based replication solution or the new log source replication solution. We also are extending the interprocess and communication message sizes to 64k to improve overall thruput.

As always, please keep us abreast of your future technology direction, needs, and wants in the data replication, data integration, and data synchronization space so we can plan to meet them accordingly.
